UK Speechwriters Guild gets new mission

The objectives of the two-year-old UK Speechwriters Guild have been amended. Formed as an association, the Guild is now more of a profit-driven enterprise.

“Our first priority is now, ‘to sell English language speechwriting services in Britain and across the world,'” says founder and ringleader Brian Jenner.

“That means we’re an agency. We’ll search for clients and then farm work out to members of the Guild. We’ll also promote speakers and training courses. We’ll offer the service of a ‘team’ to big conferences to coach and polish speakers.”
