Three organizations seek scribes

Speechwriters needed at the University of Wisconsin, the New York Federal Reserve Bank and a UK advocacy group.

The University of Wisconsin seeks an executive communicator to work “closely with the senior speechwriter to manage the preparation of speeches and presentations for senior campus leaders to multiple internal and external audiences including faculty and staff, students, alumni, industry partners, policymakers, business and community leaders, and more.” (Apply by May 27.)

The New York Federal Reserve Bank seeks a corporate communications associate to “build a CEO Communications team at the NY Fed,” says executive speechwriter Felicity Barber. “The role is junior, but I’m hoping to find someone with the potential to write speeches down the line.”

A U.K. advocacy group that deals with business and trade seeks a head of speechwriting and editorial to handle “all the major speeches for the organization’s senior leadership, across a broad range of policy areas and subjects to many different audiences. The candidate will also have responsibility for internal communications and will play a significant role in improving editorial output across the organization through workshops, narrative management and the creation of internal guidance documents.”
