The Ford Foundation is looking for an executive speechwriter to be “part of the communication brain trust for the organization. Reporting to the Director of Communications and working closely with the Vice President for Global Communications, the Speechwriter will provide strategic writing in support of the President.” Speechwriter Fletcher Dean sent me the link, asking me to note two “preferred qualifications”: “master’s degree” and “sense of humor.“
