Fake news hits home

According to press accounts, Stephen Miller was the main writer on President-Elect Trump’s inaugural address. According to this photograph that he posted on Twitter this morning, Trump would have us believe that he wrote the speech himself.

At Vital Speeches we will publish the speech. Vital Speeches editor David Murray will actually live-blog the speech at his personal blog Writing Boots. It is even fair to say we are looking forward to hearing the speech.

But we simply will not countenance the notion that Donald Trump wrote this speech himself, let alone longhand, in a suit. —DM
