“When he goes to hit you upside the head, move your head”

A couple of years ago I watched as boxer Paul Williams overcame Sergio Martinez in a fierce bout. Things weren’t going Williams’ way in the earlygoing, and his agitated corner man gave him some advice I myself have tried to take to heart, in the boxing match of life.

“Every time you get ready to fight, he hits you upside the head. You don’t need that!” the corner man pointed out. “Next time he goes to hit you upside the head, move your head!”
