Last Saturday I wandered down to Washington Square on Chicago’s near north side for the “Bughouse Square Debates.”

The annual event pays homage to the early-to-mid 20th century tradition of quirky (and often cranky) public soap-box opining that earned Bughouse Square its nickname.

I thought I’d use my video camera bring you along with me.
