Speechwriters to march on Washington (I’m serious)

Before I boom off to Washington for the Ragan Speechwriting and Executive Communication Conference this week, I want to note that for the first time, there will be a march associated with the event.

Stepping off from the steps of the Capitol at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, the march will be comprised of the most militant of the speechwriters attending the Ragan show. We’ll make our way to the Lincoln Memorial, where a ritual reading of the Gettysburg Address will ensue.

What do we want? A nightcap! When do we want it? Now!

Even if you can’t come to the conference—they can’t stop you from coming on the march.
