Speechwriter, run! If there’s a candidate who speechwriters from every political stripe could get behind, it’s Josh Gottheimer, cuz he’s one of us. The former President Clinton speechwriter is running as a Democrat for Congress, in New Jersey’s 5^th District.

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker attended the launch this week of Gottheimer’s campaign, which has raised $1.3 million, against Republican incumbent Scott Garrett’s $2.4 million.
