Leadership Communication Days is hard to report on, and not only because it’s entirely off the record. I’ve often found clever ways to extract the ideas and reality without revealing the players. But this event has a mysterious social dynamic that makes ideas inextricable from their expressor and the organization he or she is sharing it about. And speechwriters, as host Eric Schnure said, are a “tight-knit group of isolationists.”

So for this crowd, secret meetings are perfect.

And writing about them diminishes the secrecy.
