CEO seeks speechwriter with “fit, temperament and clout”

Find out what he means.

A headhunter is seeking a speechwriter to work for a big-name CEO who asks for three qualities in a scribe: “fit, temperament and clout."

Aside from being the names of the Three Horse's Asses of the Apocalypse, what precisely do those words mean?

"Someone," says the headhunter, "not set in their ways, who can be quick and nimble and has worked across a wide range of issues with some magnitude."

Oh, boss, you don’t need three words to describe that person, just one: speechwriter.
