A Teleprompter in Your Pocket

Leonoor Russell, senior speechwriter at the Dutch Ministry of Defence, points us to an app called Teleprompter Lite.

Upload it on your phone or tablet and you have a teleprompter everywhere you go, says Russell, who adds that the app “has been a lifesaver for me. Last year, I wrote a speech in the back of a car driving 100 miles an hour. We arrived just as the event was starting. There was no time to print anything. And my speaker's laptop crashed. We borrowed an iPad, used the app and he delivered the speech as if he had been preparing for this his whole life.”
