The Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte NC is looking for a director of executive communications, someone who will be responsible for leading speechwriting and other executive written communications in support of senior executives and board members for key internal and external presentation opportunities. Must have 10+ years of experience, with most of it as an executive script writer or speechwriter at the most senior level with a portfolio demonstrating proven success writing for CEOs and senior executives. Teach For America is seeking a director of speechwriting and CEO communications to work closely with the CEO of their National Engagement and Events team. The location is flexible (Houston, N.Y.C., D.C., Boston, or Chicago preferred). This individual will provide strategic counsel and oversee the development of a range of communications content, including speeches, reviews, blog posts, op-eds, messaging, emails, etc. Qualified candidates will have at least three years of political and/or executive communications experience. The Director will be expected to perform at least one long-distance trip per month.
