Speechwriting job sought
February 22, 2017
A newly former U.S. Surgeon General speechwriter is based in D.C. but willing to relocate.
Speechwriter seeks job. “My name is Thomas Francis, and I am a former journalist and ghostwriter turned Capitol Hill speechwriter. I am looking for a new position after losing my job in the presidential transition. Most recently, I was the speechwriter for the U.S. Surgeon General. Previously, I served as speechwriter for Senator Debbie Stabenow and before that the Democratic National Committee. I hope to continue writing speeches, op-eds and articles for my future employer. My skills and past experience make me a fit for NGOs and nonprofits as well for-profit corporations. I reside in Washington, D.C., but I am open to relocating for the right job. I would appreciate learning about writing positions available now or coming open in the future.” Contact Tom at: [email protected].
