Speechwriters might get more out of new CEO manual than CEOs

An ambitiously titled new book is out: The New CEO Corporate Leadership Manual.

Essentially CEOing for Dummies, the book claims to be “a blueprint for the role of CEO, including an overview of organizational structure, corporate strategy, management systems and finance.”

While you’d hope the big cheese knew all that going in, this book could be useful for the executive communicator who wants to see what the world looks like over the boss’s instrument panel.
