Speechwriter’s career “was always challenging and had a great deal of variety”

Former LBJ and Henry Ford II speechwriter William Henry Schoen III died June 9 at 89.

According to the obit in the Detroit Free Press, Schoen also “used his writing skills to help the State Department promote the Marshall Plan after World War II.”

His wife Mary said, “His career was always challenging and had a great deal of variety.”
