AP story on holiday shopping sports snappy use of anathypophora by speechwriter

Oh, snap! Speechwriter pulls anthypophora on the Associated Press! In a story on the continuing trend toward online shopping, the AP this week quoted random shoppers, including, of all people, “Jessica Danielle, a speechwriter who plans to do the bulk of her Christmas shopping on Amazon.”

Why? The speechwriter tells us why. “’All the time spent going to brick-and-mortar stores, is it worth my time?’ asked Danielle, 31, who lives in Washington, D.C. ‘I don’t think so.’”
