Five organizations seek speechwriters

Toyota, Wal-Mart, Rotary International, The College Board and the American Bar Association need speechwriting help.

Toyota seeks a manager of executive communications to “write world-class speeches and presentations for Toyota’s top executives that support and extend Toyota’s  business initiatives, announcements, programs and campaigns, both short- and long-term.”

Wal-Mart needs a director of executive speechwriting to manage the development of strategic corporate messaging and “ensure senior executives (for example, CEO, Business Unit CEOs) effectively communicate strategic business and reputation messages to advance company objectives.”

Rotary International needs a senior corporate communications writer to handle a variety of editorial tasks, including speechwriting.

The College Board seeks a director of executive communications to handle “speechwriting and other oral communications in support of the President and other executives for key internal and external presentation opportunities.”

American Bar Association is looking for a manager of speechwriting and communications to be responsible for “leading, developing and producing speeches and other communications initiatives and projects.”
