Behold the “WikiSpeech”

More than 90 Stanford Law grads used a wiki to write and edit their student graduation speech. The result isn't as bad as you'd think.

Speaking of commencements, Stanford Law School graduate Marta Belcher “crowdsourced” her June 13 graduation speech to all 180 graduates via a wiki. More than half of the students contributed to or edited the final draft, and three students read the speech in round-robin style.

You’ll find the “WikiSpeech”—video below, transcript here—is not as memorable as one person could have done, but it’s not bad at all for something dozens of lawyers did. —DM
