New book for political speechwriters

The Political Speechwriter’s Companion is a new book by veteran speechwriter Bob Lehrman. Lehrman, who has written for Al Gore and many others, says his book is aimed at pols (and their aides) who need to “communicate optimism … rely on material written by others … speak repeatedly, day in and day out.
