Washington Post: Keenan to replace Favreau

The Washington Post is reporting that Cody Keenan is the leading candidate to replace Jon Favreau as chief speechwriter at the White House.

Keenan has worked on the president’s more solemn addresses, including the recent prayer vigil speech in Newtown, Conn.

“Brilliant writer,” says a West Wing colleague.
