Speechwriting job opportunities span the globe

Qantas CEO scribe Thomas Woodward is leaving for a political speechwriting post, and they’ll need a new manager of strategic communications to replace him. “The position plays a central role in drafting executive communications, including keynote speeches, executive briefing notes and media releases and also drafts the organization’s annual report.”

ŠKODA AUTO, in the Czech Republic, seeks a speechwriter to be responsible for “drafting, coordinating and implementing comprehensive key messages for CEO communication.”

And the University of Pennsylvania’s development and alumni relations office seeks a director of strategic writing services to help university leaders communicate “with precision and eloquence to advance the University’s mission and goals.”
