She’s not the only schizophrenic CEO

Maybe you read the Sunday New York Times piece about Keris Myrick, the CEO at a mental-health nonprofit who herself has schizoaffective disorder, closely related to schizophrenia.

I was struck by a passage toward the end of the story:

In the office, [Myrick] can ask for a reality check anytime, given that most staff members have had their own struggles. “I’ll just say, ‘Excuse me, but is anyone hearing what I’m hearing?’ she said. “And if the answer is no—O.K., it’s no. Here it’s possible to do that and not worry about it.”

Would that that were the case in more corner offices.
