Longtime John McCain speechwriter and ghostwriter Mark Salter is speaking for his ailing boss to promote their new book, The Restless Wave.

In this CNN interview, Salter becomes emotional as he answers Dana Bash’s question about the most important words he’s ever written with and for McCain: “We were born to love, and we were born to have the courage for it. So be brave. The rest is easy.”
