President Bush takes to the speaking circuit

The Washington Post reports President Bush’s first post-presidency public speaking effort, a speech at a motivational conference of 15,000 in Forth Worth, Texas, was a pleasant, mostly lighthearted 28-minute riff without a central theme.

Question for veterans of professional-speaking circuit: Does Bush have to come up with something stronger, or will audiences continue to flock to hear an ex-president tell yarns about life in the White House?
