PR pros worry White House is hurting their rep

USC Annenberg School study finds 73 percent of PR pros think White House practices impact perceptions of PR industry.

Seventy-three percent of PR professionals think “the current White House communications team is impacting the public perception of the industry,” according to a new study by University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

“It’s obvious that the broader PR community is deeply concerned about the long-term consequences of the White House’s approach to communications,” said Fred Cook, director of USC Annenberg’s Center for Public Relations.
