Irish Taoiseach taps learned scribe

Patrick Geoghegan studies 18 century oratory at Trinity College.

New Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar is hiring a speechwriter from the old school—Dublin’s Trinity College, in fact, where Patrick Geoghegan is professor of modern Irish history.
