Four seek scribes

Speechwriters wanted for Manhattan Borough prez, University of Colorado, Xerox and a banking institution in Brussels.

The Manhattan Borough President is seeking a speechwriter/managing editor to be responsible for speeches, reports, and public-facing documents. The office is looking for a self-starter with relevant experience who has a sense of humor and ability to write for diverse audiences. This person will report to the Director of Communications and work closely with the Press Secretary.”

The University of Colorado in Denver is looking for an executive writer. “This person would work closely with the Executive Director of Communications writing and editing speeches for chancellors and other senior leaders, communications to faculty and staff such as newsletters and congratulatory letters, and assist in preparation of digital materials for executive presentations.”

Xerox, in Rochester, N.Y., is hiring a manager of corporate communications/speechwriter. This individual will write speeches, blog posts, op-eds, and letters for Xerox's executive team, as well as provide communications counsel to senior management.

And a banking institution in Brussels is looking for a speechwriter
