By David Murray, editor, Vital Speeches of the Day

The University of Rochester has a presidential speechwriting exhibit titled “A Presidential Voice.”

On display is a signed copy of JFK’s inaugural, along with 50 other speeches from private and public collections.

Co-curator Curt Smith, former speechwriter for President George H.W. Bush, says the exhibit is intended to “shed a light on the writing process, methodologies used, and the importance of delivery.”

Runs through Mar. 8.
