Two speechwriting posts to speak of

BP seeks a speech and business writer to work in its London office, helping the senior speechwriter to develop various exec comms materials. BP “prefers candidates who have substantial experience in news and feature writing, as well as ghostwriting speeches or articles for a thought leader.”

The UN World Food Programme is offering a six-month internship for a speechwriter. You’d be based in Rome, and you’d get $700 per month. The application process asks, “kindly include a brief essay (no more than 600 words) on ‘The Principles of Effective Speechwriting.’”
