The splashiest speechwriter in the biz these days just got promoted. Ted Cruz speechwriter Amanda Carpenter has been bumped up to communications director for the freshman Republican senator, according to Politico. With 53,000 Twitter followers, Carpenter promotes Cruz’s agenda directly, and with gusto.
She says, “It’s thrilling to work for such an exciting senator who has proved conservatives can, and will win when they are willing to make the argument.”
