The best use you can make of the holiday break is to reread every speech you wrote in 2014—preferably next to a roaring fire and with a glass of port at your elbow (and how about a pipe in your mouth?)—and enter the best of ‘em into one of the many categories in the Cicero Speechwriting Awards. Give yourself the chance to get the credit you deserve.
