Friends in high places

We learned this week that Gregory Bell is leaving the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he wrote speeches for Julian Castro, to join Hillary Clinton’s campaign, where he will work under speechwriting director Dan Schwerin. We’ve instructed Bell, a card-carrying member of the Professional Speechwriters Association, to stay in close touch—along with PSA pal Stephen Krupin, who recently moved to the White House to help write out President Obama’s last year in office. “I find myself pinching myself multiple times a day,” Krupin tells us.
