There’s been some Sturm und Drang in communication circles about the suddenly popular parlance of “I feel like,” used instead of “I think.” As in, “I feel like Donald Trump’s political campaign is changing the rules of political communication.” The usage grates on older ears, but I feel like the last words on it are these: It’s fine. —DM
